For a couple of weeks in November every year, Melbourne gets spring carnival fever. Melbourne cup is tagged as the ‘race that stops a nation’ and it turns out this is no exaggeration.
In the weeks leading up to it Melbourne turns into a racing obsessed city, dresses and head pieces seem to be all the shops are selling and there is never a day without featured articles in every paper…..

Kelly, Mark and Laura made the trip from NZ over for the cup and a holiday so dolled up to the nines we all headed to Flemington Raceway for a day of sun, wine and of course racing.
